NO BAD ART

As a professional artist
I am taking a stand against bad art.

No Bad Art, a street intervention, was first performed
while associate director at the Collective Unconscious in New York, 1995.
The performance consisted of my taking a position against bad art,
through 7 different posters which I glued to the walls of the Whitney Museum.
Later production led to street interventions in Toronto.

There can be no bad curators without good curators. The yin yang of art.
We need bad art to take a stand against,
and Sol Lewitt wrote "if stuck, make bad art".
